Hello we are Cristina and Matteo!
Together in 2016 we created CM Photoitaly.
In these years we have told with sensitivity, elegance and discretion the stories of many couples who have trusted us.
Cristina
I was born in Romania, a magnificent country where the beauty of unspoiled nature, the colors, the scents, and the sounds of this wonderful land always make me dream with my eyes open and feel like a child again.
The first way I found to express the world I observed around me was through drawing, and then painting.
In Rome, while completing my studies to graduate in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts, I simultaneously delved into the art of photography, which I had already discovered for fun in high school.
Photography revealed new ways for me to express myself, intriguing me so much that I continued my studies with a specialized degree.
I always seek a connection with the people I photograph, and I naturally notice the details, which are the elements that tell who each of us is.
I love seeing the fairytale side of the world and of love, and that's how I will tell the story of your special day. With feeling, aesthetics, and a touch of magic, just like in fairy tales!
Matteo
I was born in Rome, a city brimming with historical memories and art. Photography was the first medium I discovered, quite by chance, and immediately loved as a child, as a way to create lasting memories.
This aspect of art has always fascinated me. If you think about it, before the invention of photography, who could know and remember the faces of their great-grandparents or even just their grandparents?
Over time, I have delved deeper into this art and learned that through it you can tell much, much more than a mere documentation of reality. You can also capture emotions and feelings in time, so that you can relive them every time you look at the photos.
This is what I seek when I photograph: to be a witness to what is happening with involvement, purpose, and passion.
